The 2026 Lilydale High School Athletics Carnival, held on Friday, 24 July, was a wonderful showcase of talent, determination and House spirit. 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Students embraced the day with enthusiasm, competing across a wide range of track and field events while encouraging and supporting their teammates. From thrilling finishes to outstanding individual performances, there were plenty of moments to celebrate.
The vibrant House colours, costumes, cheering and friendly competition created an energetic atmosphere throughout the day and made this year's carnival a memorable one for our school community. 🎉
🏆 Overall House Champion Results
🥇 1st Place: 🔵Cummins – 2,542.5 points
🥈 2nd Place: 🔴Tate – 2,508 points
🥉 3rd Place: 🟢Deakin – 2,355 points
🏅 4th Place: 🟡 Everard – 2,137.5 points
Congratulations to 🔵Cummins for taking out the 2026 Athletics Carnival Championship!
With only 34.5 points separating Cummins and Tate, the competition was incredibly close, making for an exciting carnival right through to the final results.

13 Years Female: Chloe Callinan – Everard - 135 points across 6 events
13 Years Male: Xander Sommers – Deakin -125 points across 5 events
14 Years Female: Millie Wotherspoon – Everard -135 points across 6 events
14 Years Male: Sam Parker – Tate - 180 points across 8 events
15 Years Female: Ali Long – Deakin - 205 points across 9 events
15 Years Male: Hayden Rodolico – Everard - 125 points across 6 events
16 Years Female: Keira Ellis – Everard - 235 points across 11 events
16 Years Male: Arkin Bennett – Tate - 145 points across 7 events
17 Years Female: Georgia Gow – Cummins - 235 points across 11 events
17 Years Male: Jensen Barry – Tate- 130 points across 6 events
20 Years Female: Tabitha Young – Everard - 140 points across 7 events
- 20 Years Male: Peter Bouw – Tate - 155 points across 7 events
A special congratulations to Keira Ellis and Georgia Gow, who both achieved an impressive 235 points across 11 events to lead the Age Group Champion results. 👏🏆
These results highlight the consistency, versatility and commitment of our students, with our champions competing across a wide range of events and making a significant contribution to their Houses.
Well done to every student who competed, participated, encouraged their teammates and contributed to their House throughout the day. Every effort and every point counted!
A special thank you also goes to our amazing staff and volunteers for their organisation, encouragement and hard work in making the carnival such a successful event.
