👕 School Uniform Reminder

This term, there has been an increase in the number of non-uniform items being worn to school.

This is a friendly reminder of our school's uniform expectations. We encourage all families to take a moment to review our School Uniform Policy and help ensure students are wearing the correct school uniform each day.

❌ Please note: The following items are not part of the Lilydale High School uniform and should not be worn to school:

• Hoodies
• Track pants
• Runners and other sneaker-style footwear

We understand that there can sometimes be challenges in meeting uniform requirements. If your family is experiencing any difficulties, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're committed to working alongside families to find practical solutions so every student can meet our uniform expectations.

🛍️All approved school uniform items are available for purchase from LOWES Lilydale, located at Lilydale Marketplace, or online.

💉 Year 10 Immunisations – Parent Reminder

A reminder that all Year 10 students will be offered the free Meningococcal ACWY vaccine at school on Thursday, 27 August.

📋 Action Required: Please complete the Year 10 Immunisation Form on Compass, whether you consent or do not consent to your child receiving the vaccine.

✅ All families are required to submit the form, regardless of their decision.

🕺💃 Year 10 Formal 

The 2026 Year 10 Formal is fast approaching, and the Middle School Coordination Team is excited to celebrate this special milestone with our Year 10 students. 

We encourage every Year 10 student to join us for what promises to be a fun, memorable evening of great food, music, dancing and celebration with friends.

Date: Friday 11 September

Time: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Venue: Tatra Receptions, Mount Dandenong

🎟️ Cost: $113.00 per student

Ticket Includes:

🍽️ Three-course meal

🥤 Soft drinks

🎶 DJ and dancing

🎁 Lucky prizes

🎫 Tickets must be purchased by Friday 14 August.  ⚠️ No late payments will be accepted after this date.

🎓 Year 12 Valedictory Dinner 

Lilydale High School takes great pleasure in inviting Year 12 students and their guests to the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner.

📅 Date: Wednesday 2 December, 2026

📍 Venue: Crown Palladium, Level 1, Crown Towers, 8 Whitman Street, Southbank

🕡 Time: 6.30 pm – 11.00 pm

👗 Dress Code: Formal

💵 Cost: $140 per person | $60 per child (12 and under)

🎟️ Bookings close Friday 4 September

TICKETS can also be purchased from Compass and the school website homepage. 

This special evening is a celebration of our Year 12 students' achievements and the culmination of their secondary school journey. We look forward to sharing this memorable night with our graduating class and their families. 

📚 After-School Study Hub

📅 Thursdays 

🕒 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

📍 School Library

Our After-School Study Hub offers students a supportive and welcoming space to complete homework, catch up on classwork, prepare for assessments and receive assistance from teachers.

It's a great opportunity for students to strengthen their understanding, develop positive study habits and build confidence in their learning.

Students can also enjoy ham and cheese toasties, fresh fruit and a relaxed study environment.

Whether your child needs a little extra support or simply a quiet place to focus, we encourage them to come along!

A reminder that pre-orders for the 2026 Salamander Yearbook close on Friday, 18 September 2026.

Don't miss your chance to secure a copy! The Salamander is a wonderful keepsake, capturing the memories, achievements and highlights of the 2026 school year.

🚗 William Street East Gates  

Parents/Carers, please do not drop off or pick up students in William Street East. 

For the safety of our students, families and the wider community, we ask that you please use the Stadium Carpark as an alternative location for student pick-up and drop-off.

Please also be mindful of the local businesses along William Street East. We have had vehicles blocking driveways and restricting access.

🚧 Please follow all traffic management directions, observe signage and avoid blocking driveways or business access.
