School Production

Production rehearsals for Mary Poppins Jr. are well underway! All students have now learnt the music for the show, and this term we are focusing on integrating choreography and dialogue - an exciting milestone as we begin to see the show come to life.

This year’s production is truly a collaborative effort, with over 100 students involved -including 65 performers on stage, a 9-piece show band, and 27 students working behind the scenes across backstage, media, front of house, hair and make-up, and prompt roles. It’s fantastic to see so many students contributing their talents in different ways.

Students have been working hard to develop their characters and stagecraft, and it’s wonderful to see their confidence growing each week. Over the coming weeks, rehearsals will continue to build towards full run-throughs as we bring all elements of the production together.
