Sport: Year 8 Volleyball

Congratulations to our Year 8 Boys Volleyball team, crowned Upper Hume Champions yesterday at the Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre!

After a week of lunchtime training, the boys went one better than last year’s runner-up result, defeating WMYC (Felltimber) and Grace Christian College in the pool matches before claiming a thrilling final win over Catholic College Wodonga (1-2).

They now advance to the Hume Region Finals on Monday 27 October, aiming to become our first Volleyball team to reach State in nine years!

⭐ Best players: Nick Jones, Captain Teo Valle, Luke Pensak & Angus Fraser.

Our Girls team also performed strongly, finishing Runner-Up, with standout players Paige Tanner, Bella Boulton & Willow Norris.
