Concert time is almost here! A reminder to families that tickets are on sale and selling fast. Please visit the Geelong Art Centre website to buy your tickets before they sell out - https://geelongartscentre.org.au/whats-on/all-events/moriac-primary-school/

The show is on Tuesday the 2nd of Decemeber. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Please also make sure your child comes to the Geelong Art Centre dressed in their costume.

Prep - 2

The Grade Prep to 2 students having been working hard to polish and refine their concert songs and dances. It's great seeing how many students have been working hard at home practicing their perfomance, and I can't wait to see them up on the stage.

In Visual Arts, students have continued creating art works based on different animals. In these photos you can see some of our 1/2 students completing a caterpillar using paint, coloured dye and oil pastels.

3-6

The Grade 3 to 6 students have been working hard developing the concert performance. Seeing their enthusiasm and excitment while they colloborate with their friends and peers has been wonderful to see. 

In Visual Arts, the students have continued using the elements of art to develop art works based on different places and settings. In these photos, you can see some of our students creating castles using oil pastels. Their goal was to emulate the look of stain-glass windows seen in the times of Medievel England.
