Principal Post

Dear Families,
How wonderful it has been to see the sunshine again this week! It certainly made for a fantastic finish to our swimming program. The students have worked incredibly hard, building their confidence, skills and water safety knowledge throughout the program. The feedback has been extremely positive, and we are so proud of the students’ enthusiasm, effort and progress. A big thank you to our staff, families and swimming instructors for supporting such a successful program!
A Message from Andrew
Hi everyone,
I can't believe you are almost halfway into the term! I am very much enjoying retirement and have returned from a brilliant trip to Sri Lanka. What a beautiful country! Safari's Countryside hikes, Beaches- how good!
I hadn't had the opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the fantastic farewell you gave me at the end of Term 2. For all your kind words and the lovely gifts - thank you. It means a lot to me.
A big hello to all the students. Take care and continue to go well at SJV!! - Andrew

Indie Baker won an award this week for
being welcoming to everyone and never hesitating to include absolutely anyone.

There will be NO Canteen this week. We apologise for the inconvenience. To those who have already put in a lunch order for next week, it will be honoured on the same day the following week.
Holiday Leave and Absences
Families are reminded that holidays during school term must be notified to the school in advance. Please email admin@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au and copy your child’s class teacher, including the dates of absence. For absences of five days or more, an Extended Leave Form must be completed and approved prior to the leave. Forms are available from the school office, website and newsletter.
Second Hand Uniforms
Families who have uniform items that are too small or no longer needed are invited to donate them to the school. Donations can be brought to the office at any time.
These contributions support our new students and Foundation 2027 families, who appreciate being able to purchase good‑quality uniform items at a lower cost.
