Year 3 & 4
Around our level
Last Monday, we participated in our Whole-school Athletics Day. We had such a great time and we tried our very best. Students have written a recount about their day and they came up with many interesting words to describe their day. 'Exhausting', 'amazing', 'tiring', 'enthusiastic', and 'tried our best', were some of their words they used. We saw so many students showing resilience, kindness, and encouragement as they cheered on their classmates. The weather held out for us, and apart from the wind, it was a perfect day!

During our Maths lessons, we have been focussing on learning the tips and tricks of the six times tables. Our footy loving students were able to use their scoring knowledge to help others. We also revised the four and eight times tables, which are just doubles and double doubles of the two times tables!

In Literacy, we have started thinking about our information project. We are choosing a topic, researching it using books and Chromebooks, then writing information in dot points. Last week we practiced these skills as we learnt about the Nile River and the Vatican City.

Students are nominated by their teachers to receive a certificate of acknowledgment. The below students' certificates will be presented at our next assembly.
3/4A - Mr Franklin
Elijah S

3/4B - Mrs Pfander & Mr Smith
