Growing Connections with headspace
Our partnership with headspace Bentleigh continues to grow, supporting the wellbeing of all MGSC students in a variety of ways. Staff from the Community Engagement Team regularly visit our school during lunchtimes to run creative, relaxed engagement sessions that help students connect and build positive relationships.
Recently, Year 9 and 10 students worked with the headspace team and our Wellbeing staff to design a Respectful Relationships poster, highlighting that headspace is here for all students’ mental health and wellbeing needs. A big thank you to the headspace Bentleigh team for their ongoing support and collaboration!
headspace also conducted a Stress Less Session focused on meditation, relaxation and mindfulness—perfect timing as we head into the busy end-of-year period.

Cast Your Votes
We’re incredibly proud of our MGSC students who have taken part in Fresh Take – A Southside Creative Project, an exciting new vaping prevention initiative that empowers young people to use creativity to promote healthy choices.
Our students have done an outstanding job developing innovative campaigns as part of this fully funded program, supported by VicHealth, Kingston Youth Services, and local councils. Their projects highlight leadership, teamwork, and a strong commitment to positive change in our community.
Now, they need your support! Please cast your votes to help our MGSC team win up to $10,000 in creative prizes for our school.
