After Stage 2’s fantastic efforts, it was Stage 3’s turn to compete in the Todd Woodbridge Cup. Ten of our Year 5 and 6 students represented Trinity, and after a great day of tennis winning all of their round games, they went on to win in the final! This outstanding result means they will now represent Trinity at the State Finals in Parramatta this November.
A special congratulations goes to Isla Gooding, who was awarded Player of the Day, and to Bella Doolan, Sonny Thorneycroft, Will Coleman, and Lachlan Morton, who all received Sportsmanship Awards. Well done to both our Stage 2 and Stage 3 teams on their achievements – we wish them the best of luck for the next stages of the competition!
Last Tuesday, 45 of our Year 3 and 4 students took part in the Trent Barrett Legends Gala Day. We had five teams competing, including three boys’ tackle teams, one girls’ team, and a mixed tag team. It was a fun and rewarding day, with all players giving their best, regardless of their rugby experience.
In the boy’s teams, Jordy Rampal stood out with his consistent efforts across every game, while Clay Jones and Harry Jackson also impressed as their skills and confidence grew throughout the day. In the mixed tag team, Theo I’Anson was a key contributor, working hard alongside his teammates. In the girls’ team, every player gave their all and displayed fantastic spirit.
A big congratulations to all our players for their commitment and effort, particularly during the lunchtime training sessions, where they worked hard to develop their rugby skills. An outstanding effort from everyone involved!
