Last week we hosted our first VEX Robotics Competition!
Students from Year 4 to Year 7 showcased four months of hard work, designing, building and refining their robots before competing against visiting teams from Galen College. The day was packed with innovation, teamwork and friendly rivalry - a fantastic first competition for many of our students!
A huge thank you to our Year 9 and Year 11 referees - Ahmed, Charli, Justin and Jack - for their leadership, and to Sam and Lee from Border Robotics, plus Maree Timms and Brett Webber for running the event so smoothly. We’re also grateful to our supportive parents for cheering the teams on.
This event was excellent preparation for the State Championships on November 15, with another competition at Galen College in just two weeks. We’re so proud of our students for their resilience, enthusiasm and commitment - what an incredible debut!
