Cakes for a Cause

Today was the Year 2 bake sale and as always, the contributions were spectacular! Thank you to all the families who spent time making or buying goods for us to sell today. The children enjoyed their shopping experience and everyone was able to purchase at least one yummy treat! Thank you also to our Year 2 parents who came in and helped with the serving in the afternoon. Once we have counted the money we will update the community on how much was raised. 

Major Fundraiser - Walkathon

This year the major student fundraiser will be the student walk-a-thon, to be held during the afternoon of Friday 7th  November (Week 5). All students will participate in walking (or running!) a set course around the streets surrounding the large block of the school. Detailed communications will be sent out on Monday Week 4. We will be asking all students to find sponsors who are willing to donate based on either a set amount for participation or per lap. We will also need parent volunteers to supervise inside and outside the school during the walk-a-thon. The volunteer spreadsheet will come out with the communications in Week 4.

End of Year Celebration Picnic

Our last event for the year, the celebration end of year picnic, will be held on the school oval on Thursday 27th November. There will be food trucks and a sausage sizzle at the picnic, and information about timing and volunteers will be forthcoming. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a great year with the school community, so we look forward to your help and enjoying a relaxing evening together.
