As we move quickly through Term 4, our school continues to be abuzz with activity. This week our whole school celebrated all things Italy at our annual ‘Italian Cultural Day’, whilst our Year 6 students showcased their personal learning inquiries at the ‘PYP Exhibition’. At assembly, Mrs. Sim shared information about our major student fundraiser of the year, the ‘walk-athon’, and our Year 3, 4 and 5 students have also participated in major excursions across the past week. Please make sure you keep across our communications via Compass, always arriving at 3:00pm, to ensure you don’t miss anything!
Our school has had an outstanding year in sport, and I would like to congratulate Leni Schori on her selection to represent Victoria in 12 years and under Girls Football (soccer). Leni will participate in the National Championships commencing Saturday and has also been nominated as Vice-Captain of the team. We wish Leni all the best at this event and know she will represent the school with pride.
Planning for 2026 is well underway at our school and will soon include visits from our incoming Prep cohort. We have communicated the class placement process, identical to previous years, via both the previous newsletter to this, and via Compass. As shared earlier, please not the following key dates for the class placement process and see the following page of this newsletter for the process in its entirety.
Enrolments, both entering and exiting the school, are critical at this time of year. If you know of family or friends who are looking to enrol at our school, please encourage them to contact us and join a school tour (run each Friday at 9:30am) as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we do have a small number of students who exit at the end of an academic year. If your child/ren are exiting the school and you have not informed our administration team yet, please do so as soon as possible.
Our forward planning also involves our dedicated School Council, who have supported us to prepare the Parent Payment Arrangements for 2026, as well as your child’s 2026 booklist. This information will be shared with you in coming weeks as we continue our preparations for another outstanding year of learning and wellbeing at CSPS in 2026. Thank you to our School Councillors for their collaboration and support through this process.
Thanks for your ongoing support and keep doing your best.
