School Wide Postive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Matrices
At CSPS we have developed different Matrices of expected behaviours for different settings and activities. These expected behaviours are in line with our Values and being taught and displayed around the school.
So far this year, we have focused on our Assembly Matrix, our Transitions Matrix and our Online Matrix. We are currently focusing on how we behave when we are accessing the toilets at school during class time as well as recess and lunch.
We demonstrate POSITIVITY when we take pride in keeping the toilet area clean.
We demonstrate RESPECT when:
We leave the toilets, sinks, floors and walls clean for others to use.
We close the cubicle door when using the toilet.
There is one person in a cubicle at a time.
We demonstrate INTEGRITY when:
We tell a teacher if something is damaged or someone is behaving inappropriately.
We leave the toilets when we are finished.
We demonstrate DETERMINATION when we use the toilets during break time to avoid disrupting learning time.
And we demonstrate EXCELLENCE when we flush the toilet and wash our hands.
