Term 4 in the Library

Term 4 in the Library means an increasing number of students coming in to study, waiting for an exam to start, celebrating and debriefing after an exam, and getting those assignments finished. Even during busy lunchtime sessions there is always a quiet room waiting for anyone who needs some time to study or do schoolwork.

Term 4 is also time to make sure that Library loans are up to date. All students receive weekly reminders of their outstanding loans. Many still have books that are at least one term overdue – please encourage your students to check the books they have on loan via the Library catalogue (use the star dropdown list in Compass). Once signed in, they need to hover over their name in the top right hand corner to see a list of options, and choose Loans. They can now see everything they have on loan and if it is overdue. There are no penalties for returning overdue books. Remember – Library books are a shared commodity and need to be returned so others can enjoy reading them. Thanks for your help.
