Performing Arts Exams

Exams have started for our Performing Arts students in Instrumental Music, Theatre Studies and Dance. In many cases, students have to take props and instruments to their exams. We'd like to thank families and staff for their support, and wish students good luck!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Wantirna College's 2025 Production of Chicago: Teen Edition for being nominated for the following Lyrebird awards:

Wantirna College for their creative use of criminal photo opportunities with the audience in the foyer at their show Chicago - Teen Edition.

 

Tickets for the Lyrebird Awards will be available soon through Bunjil Place Theatre and take place on Sun 7 Dec, 2pm.

2026 Enrolment

It that time of year again, when we will be soon asking families to re-enrol for 2026 to help us with planning.  For those students who have expressed interesting in learning an additional instrument, now is a great time to discuss this with parents/carers.  More information about re-enrolment (as well as a re-enrolment form) will be provided in November. 

 

Please note that new students (Year 7 in 2026 or other) will be invited to fill out a different form in due course.

Bunnings Fundraiser

The POPA Committee ran another great Bunnings BBQ on Sunday and raised an incredible $3100! Thank you to the following people for coming along to sell sausages: Barbara Dollery, Georgi Papenfuss, Victoria Koedyk, Alma Kosmopoulos, Nicky Parasidis, Marcia Timmers-Leitch, Trudy Napper, Dev Vagel, Lawrence Zhang, Conrad Coombs, Jarrod Smith, Annette Clarke, Bronwyn Briers, Julia West and Donna O'Connor.

A special thank you to Bron, Alma & Nicky for all their planning and shopping. Thanks also to all our community that went along to sell buy sausages - I was one of them and they were YUM!  All funds raised will go towards end of year instrument repairs.

Christmas Raffle 

Our final fundraiser for 2025 will be the Christmas Raffle. If anyone wishes to donate prizes towards this popular raffle, please get in touch with me.
