Being Sun Smart

Term 4 is a time to be Sun Smart.  To help protect students during the summer months, and to support being sun smart, the school has the following things in place:

  • All classrooms will have a supply of sunscreen for student use, and students will be encouraged to use it before going out to recess and lunch
  • Students should bring a water bottle to school with them (please make sure their name is on the bottle)
  • All students need to wear a hat when they go out on breaks - please make sure your child's hat has their name on it.  Students who do not have a hat will need to stay in the shade.  Unfortunately, the school does not have spare hats to lend students.  However, you can purchase hats for $15 from the office.

Early Pick Ups

Do you need to pick your child up before the end of school bell?  The school policy is that early pick ups need to be before 2:45 pm.  If you come to pick you child up after 2:45, you will need to wait till the bell goes.  

 

 

 3:05 - The Gates are Open!

Parents are invited to enter the school grounds via the school gates from 3:05 pm to pick up their children.  We ask that you enter the school for pick ups through the gates, rather than walking through the office area.  While we recognise that some parents, or even older brothers or sisters from the secondary school, may be here before that time, this is when the school opens the gates for pick up.  

 

2024 Prep Enrolments

We are looking forward to welcoming all our new students in 2024.  However, we do need to get things ready for them.  If you have a child starting school with us next year, you should already have submitted an enrolment form.  If you haven't, please visit the office and talk to Kate at reception, and she will supply you with the form.  If you have already completed your enrolment form, have you given Kate all the documents we need to complete the enrolment process?  If you haven't, Kate will have been in touch with you.  Please make sure you do bring all the documents Kate asks for to school as soon as possible.
