Sovereign Hill Excursion: October 18, 2023
Our much-anticipated trip to Sovereign Hill was a great success. Student's stepped back in time to the days of the gold rush. The immersive experience saw history come to life, with hands-on activities and fascinating insights into our nation's past.
Art Show: October 26, 2023
The creativity and talent of our students will shine at the upcoming Art Show, scheduled for October 26th. You'll be amazed by the stunning artworks our students have created this term. It's a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their artistic achievements.
Maths
Fractions and Decimals
In our Math lessons this term, we'll delve into the world of fractions and decimals. This essential foundation in mathematics will help students understand the relationships between numbers and solve real-world problems with confidence.
Graphing and Data
We will also explore the exciting realm of graphing and data. Students will learn how to represent and interpret data graphically, a crucial skill in today's data-driven world.
English
Science Fiction/Fantasy Narratives
Our English program will take us into the captivating worlds of science fiction and fantasy narratives. Students will engage in creative storytelling, building their imagination and communication skills.
Speeches
Speeches are an excellent way for students to express themselves and develop strong communication skills. We will work on speech writing and presentation to boost confidence and public speaking abilities.
Inquiry
Asia and Our Surrounding Countries
Our inquiry focus this term is on Asia and the countries surrounding it. Students will explore the rich diversity, cultures, and geography of this fascinating region, expanding their global perspectives.
