From the Classroom - S1

S1 had a fantastic time on Friday taking part in the Colour Run at Miners Rest Primary School! It was wonderful to see the students getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying plenty of laughs along the way. There were smiles, colourful faces and lots of energy throughout the morning, with everyone embracing the fun and showing great school spirit. A fantastic day was had by all!

S1 had a fantastic time during our Maths Challenge Day, with a special focus on money and financial mathematics. Students worked collaboratively through a range of fun and challenging activities, including calculating costs, working with discounts, finding change and solving real-life money problems. It was great to see students using their problem-solving skills, mathematical thinking and teamwork throughout the day while having plenty of fun along the way!

I would like to congratulate all students in S1 for their hard work, perseverance and positive attitude towards learning. It has been wonderful to see the growth and achievements of each student across all areas of the curriculum. We look forward to showcasing our portfolios at the Student-Led Conferences on Wednesday, where students will have the opportunity to share their learning journey and celebrate all that they have accomplished throughout the term.
