Year Five/Six News

What an Exciting End to Term!
What an exciting time of term it has been for our Year 5/6 students!
We kicked things off with Book Week, where students had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite characters and celebrate their love of reading. It was fantastic to see so much creativity and enthusiasm across the school!
We were also lucky enough to have Tony Bones visit us and perform a picture storybook about being an individual. His engaging performance encouraged students to celebrate who they are, be confident in themselves and remember that it is okay to be different.
Our Year 5/6 students then took on the Ultimate Maths Challenge, persevering through a range of challenging problem-solving tasks. It was wonderful to see students work collaboratively, think creatively and support one another to achieve success. Many students also stepped up as leaders, helping guide and encourage others throughout the challenge.
And what better way to finish the week than with an amazing Colour Run! There were plenty of smiles, laughter and, of course, lots of colour as we celebrated the end of a busy and exciting term.
A huge thank you to all of our families for your support throughout the term. We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing and well-deserved break!
Enjoy the sunshine and we look forward to seeing everyone next term!
