Last term the Social Enterprise Program supported the Diamond Valley Foodshare (DVFS). Based in Greensborough DVFS is an organisation that supports the local community by providing food parcels and other household items. Our annual food drive that was held in May and also with the profits of the SEP cafe that runs each morning we managed to donate over 2500 food items and $950 to DVFS. Thanks to everyone who has made these donations possible.
This term we are supporting the Big Group Hug. Big Group Hug supports local families by donating books, toys and clothes for children up the age of 16. We are supporting Big Group Hug through the profits from our SEP cafe and also through a Book and Toy Drive Day that will be held later this term (more details to come). We will also be donating the profits (about $350) from our chicken schnitzel night that was held on the 15th of August. Thanks to all those who ordered a chicken schnitzel roll and to those who volunteered their time to cook and serve the chicken schnitzel rolls. We hope you enjoyed them. Below are some photos from the event.
Thanks
SEP Team,
