Introducing the Wellbeing Wagon: Supporting Positive Lunchtimes
We are pleased to introduce the Wellbeing Wagon, a new initiative designed to support student wellbeing and social development during lunchtime breaks. The wagon will be available for students every second Thursday and every second Friday, located just outside the Life Skills Hub.
All students are welcome to visit the Wellbeing Wagon, which offers a variety of engaging activities including board games, puzzles, building materials, LEGO, and kinetic sand. These resources provide students with the opportunity to connect with their peers in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
The purpose of the Wellbeing Wagon is to create a positive space where students can practise important social skills such as turn-taking, cooperation, and learning to be both gracious winners and good sports. It also encourages students to build friendships and enjoy unstructured play in a supportive setting.
We look forward to seeing students from across all year levels participate and benefit from this initiative.
A Generous Donation from State Schools’ Relief & Diamond Valley Community Support – Uniforms & Breakfast Supplies
We are grateful for our partnership with State Schools’ Relief, they have kindly donated a large number of older-style, logoed polo tops – both long-sleeved and short-sleeved – in a wide range of sizes (4 to 16).
Many of these tops have already been handed out to students, but we still have plenty available and would love to see them go to good use in our school community.
In addition, we are very grateful to have received a supply of non-perishable breakfast items, which we would also like to pass on to families who may find them helpful.
With students growing so quickly, this is a great opportunity to grab some extra uniform items! If these donations would be useful for your family, please don’t hesitate to contact Kate via email.
