Year 10 Subject Expo and VCE subject selections

On Thursday 31st July, all Year 10 students attended an internal VCE subject expo in our senior portables. Students were given their VCE handbooks and had time to discuss their subject and pathway ideas with various senior teachers, careers practitioners and representatives from GoTafe and Apprenticeships support Australia.

All students were able to ask questions, and will begin to make decisions about their future pathways and careers over the next few years, so making the right subject selections is really important. We want to set our students up for success and open up opportunities for them to succeed. Following the Expo, a Parent Information Evening will be held and parent and student meetings with staff will take place next Thursday 7th August from 2pm – 5pm, when students will select and confirm their VCE subjects for Yr 11 and 12.
