Year 10 Work Experience

Work experience was a great success for our Year 10 students in the final week of Term 2. We are grateful to the many businesses that generously welcomed our students and provided valuable learning opportunities. These placements are more than just a week away from the classroom - they play a vital role in building real-world skills and developing work readiness. By experiencing different industries and workplace environments, students begin to understand the expectations of professional settings, such as punctuality, communication, teamwork, and responsibility. This practical exposure helps them explore possible career paths and boosts their confidence as they prepare for life beyond school. We also commend the students who showed initiative and dedication, travelling both near and far to make the most of this opportunity.
