Modbury Playgroup

We are pleased to welcome families back to Playgroup in 2026.

Playgroup will return in Term 1, Week 1 on Friday 30 January.

Sessions are held in the Preschool area from 9:00am to 11:00am.

All families are welcome.

Modbury School P–6 values Playgroup as an important opportunity for families to build community connections, learn more about Preschool, and support children as they transition into Preschool and School.

Children who currently attend Preschool are also welcome to join Playgroup.

Each session includes:

Indoor and outdoor free play
Pack-up time
Group story and songs
Session concludes at 11:00am

We ask families to please provide:

A healthy snack for your child (e.g. fruit, vegetable sticks, finger foods)
A water bottle
A hat

Please note that we are a nut-aware school, so we ask that no nut products are brought to Playgroup (including Nutella, peanut butter, etc.).

There is a $10 annual registration fee per family, along with a small gold coin donation per session to assist with running costs and resources for your child’s learning experiences at Playgroup.
