Children's University

Modbury School P–6 is proud to continue participating in the Children’s University program in 2026. Children’s University is an exciting initiative that encourages students to engage in learning beyond the classroom, promoting the joy and curiosity of lifelong learning. Through the program, students have the opportunity to explore a range of educational activities, both in the community and at home, which are recognised and celebrated.
Children who join the program receive a ‘Passport to Learning,’ where they record and reflect on the hours spent in approved activities such as workshops, excursions, hobbies, and special projects. These activities help students discover new interests and build valuable skills, boosting their confidence and independence.
At the end of the school year, participants are invited to a formal graduation ceremony at the University of Adelaide, celebrating their achievements alongside university staff and their families. This special event recognises their dedication to personal growth and encourages aspirations for future learning.
We invite families to support and encourage their children’s involvement in Children’s University and to discover the many exciting opportunities it offers. We will soon recieve our QR code for families to be able to register, and will share this via Dojo when it arrives!
