Dear Families,
Our weeks have flown on by, children have well and truly settled into routines, shown responsibility & being helpful towards others.
Chinese New Year Theme- Year of the Horse. Children identify their Chinese zodiac sign by knowing their year of birth and matching it up with the character on the poster we have up in our room. We made dragon puppets- amazing colours.
This week we tried a new recipe- Banana chocolate smoothie. Children enjoyed the sweetness and the coolness of the frozen banana. Children like to volunteer to serve our 2nd snack, giving them responsibility and the awareness of hygiene.
Our imagination station has been a busy area, with children not only using the space for Teachers/students play or Talent show but Daycare baby-sitting Centre and another space was used for a camp site- where children would prepare food and tell stories sitting at the campfire.
Children with enthusiasm decorated their own cookies. Children mixed primary colours to make their choice of coloured icing.

Superhero Week: March 16th - 20th
Free webinar for families: Mental Health First Aid- Tuesday, 24th March
