Settling in at BSC!

Year 7

Hi, I’m Aashna and I am one of the Year 7 Representatives on the Student Representative Council.

My transition into high school has been a new and exciting experience. The journey from primary school to secondary school has had its challenges, but at the same time has been wonderful. 

It has been an opportunity to make new friends, try new things and learn new skills. Thank you so much to the wonderful teachers who have been helping us settle in. 

Some highlights of the year so far have been The Swimming Carnival and the Year 7 Drama performance of Jofus and the Plank.  Year 7 Camp was also an amazing experience, and thank you to Miss Jenkins and Miss Simkin, for all the planning they put into it.... I wish I could do it again. Some of the activities we enjoyed were the High Ropes, Giant Swing, bike riding and canoeing.

I also enjoyed the Athletics Carnival  - it was so much fun! There were lots of events we could do,  including High Jump, 100m, 200m and 400m races, long jump and plenty more. Thanks to Mr Warmington for organising the carnival.
