We have had a busy and productive Term 2! We have been learning new mathematical strategies for adding and subtracting, writing super sentences, and reading interesting storybooks. A class favourite was Migaloo, a book about the first white whale spotted off the Australian coast in 1991!

Some of our other highlights include learning about the Church, attending our parish Mass, and learning about the famous painter Vincent van Gogh. We did a fabulous job of recreating one of his most famous paintings, The Starry Night. We used oil pastels, watercolor, and collage to make our masterpieces! We also created a Winter scene and were very pleased with the results.
