Our Year 4-6 SSV Swimming squad recently had strong representation at both the District and Divisional Swimming Carnivals, with students delivering some excellent performances in the pool.
At the District Swimming Carnival, 22 students progressed through to the next stage following a series of impressive results across multiple events. Congratulations to all students who competed, with particularly strong performances from our group below.

Hyunwoo K – 1st 50m Butterfly, 2nd 50m Freestyle
Oscar F – 1st 50m Breastroke
Charlotte C – 1st 50m Freestyle, 1st 50 Backstroke
Oliver M – 1st 50m Freestyle, 1st 50m Butterfly
Zyrelle B – 1st 50m Freestyle, 1st 50m Breaststroke
Georgia F – 1st 50m Butterfly
Jett K – 1st 50m Freestyle, 1st 50m Backstroke, 1st 50m Butterfly
Malik W – 1st 50m Breaststroke
The success continued at the Divisional Swimming Carnival, where Overnewton was again well represented. We are pleased to share that 10 students have qualified for the Regional Swimming Championships. This group includes both our relay and medley teams, along with individual swimmers who achieved outstanding results in their respective events.

These achievements are a testament to the commitment and effort shown by our swimmers, and we wish them the very best as they prepare to compete at the Regional level. Well done to all students involved in representing the College so proudly in the pool.
















It was great to see numbers continuing to grow for the Tennis program. It will be back on again this Friday morning at 8am!
This program is open to students of all playing abilities, whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time or already have match experience. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, improve fitness, and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.
All equipment is provided — just bring your enthusiasm!

Parents who wish to collect their child directly from a training or match venue must first complete the ACS Sport Student Venue Collection Application via the link below.
Please note that ACS buses do not return to Canowindra campus at the end of training and match days. All buses return to Yirramboi campus.
