2026 Middle School SRC

It is my pleasure to start the year off by announcing the 2026 Middle School SRC!
I want to start by saying, well done to the students who stood in front of their class and made a speech, were elected by a teacher or student body or just had the courage to put their hand up for this tremendous role.
In becoming an SRC member, students are given the great privilege of organising fulfilling events that their peers can enjoy and that support worthy causes such as Harmony Week, RUOK Day, IDAHOBIT Day, the Anglicare Christmas Drive and World Teacher’s Day (these are the SRC events currently listed for 2026).
They are also given the opportunity to bring forth awesome initiatives that can better Middle School and make Overnewton an even better place for students. They will be equipped with leadership skills that will assist them in many other areas, whether it be sport, friendship groups, Year 9 and Senior School leadership or your career.
I wish all of them the best with this adventure and am excited to work with all of them this year.
