Foundation
This fortnight in Physical Education, our Foundation students have continued learning the basics of working in PE and in the gym. They have been practising how to line up safely, take turns, and show patience during activities. It has been fantastic to see students building their confidence and understanding of our PE routines.
Years 1 & 2
This fortnight in Physical Education, our Year 1 and 2 students have been revisiting the Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) they have learned in previous years. Students have also been focusing on demonstrating positive learning behaviours such as taking turns, sharing equipment, and showing patience during activities.
Years 3-6
This fortnight in Physical Education, our Year 3-6 students have continued developing their athletics skills, focusing on discus throw and long jump in the first week and on all events in the second week. Students participated in full rotations on the oval through long jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus, with a strong emphasis on refining technique and safely handling the heavier equipment that will be used on Athletics Day.
