Student Diaries – Reminder for Classroom Exits
A reminder to all students and families that, as part of College expectations, students must use their diary if they need to leave the classroom. This is an important rule to ensure student safety and accountability. All students are issued a diary at the beginning of the year. If a diary has been lost or misplaced, a replacement can be purchased from the front office. Thank you for your support in helping students meet College expectations.
Semester and Interim Reports
We encourage all students and families to take the time to read through the feedback provided by teachers on upcoming reports. This is a great opportunity to celebrate successes, identify areas for improvement, and set meaningful goals for Semester 2.
Respecting Our School Environment
As we head into the winter months, it’s important to remind all students of their responsibility in keeping our school clean and respectful. There is no excuse for littering our school grounds, classrooms, and locker areas should reflect the pride we have in being part of the Horsham College community. With colder weather approaching, we also need to be mindful that winter can bring unwanted pests such as mice. This makes it even more important to keep locker areas clean, dispose of food scraps properly, and ensure rubbish is placed in bins where it belongs.
Semester 2 Changeover – Week 11
Semester 2 changeover will take place next week (Week 11). New timetables will be distributed to students and will also be available to view on SEQTA. If students have any issues or concerns with their Semester 2 timetable, they are encouraged to speak with their relevant Year Level Team when appropriate.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone an enjoyable and well-deserved holiday break. It’s been a busy and productive term for all, and we hope the break provides some time to rest and recharge!
