Work Experience spotlight:

Jasper Christian

Where did you undertake your work experience? I did my work experience at Horsham Primary School and the Rasmussen Campus.

What was a typical day like for you? A typical day for me was learning how to teach P.E to primary school kids all with different abilities and been in a classroom helping kids who were falling behind.

What kind of tasks/jobs where you given? I was given tasks and jobs like, spending the day with a kid who was struggling in class and needed a hand at reading, maths etc, or taking different classes for P.E, and I also went to Lutheran to help umpire girls footy and keep scores.

Did you enjoy your experience and what new skills did you learn? Yes I enjoyed my work experience and I learnt lots of new skills like, how to get a group of young kids to pay attention to you while you’re taking, how to give clear instructions and keep them all engaged.
