Wellbeing

Over recent weeks, staff have continued refining our Student Responsibilities and Expectations framework, with a strong focus on building positive relationships and maintaining high expectations for all students.

As part of this work, we are using consistent language across the school to promote safe, respectful and inclusive behaviours both in and out of the classroom. These shared expectations help create a positive learning environment where every student feels supported, valued and ready to learn.

Clear visual displays have been developed and will be displayed in all classrooms to provide students with consistent reminders of our school expectations. The visuals support students in understanding what positive behaviour looks like across a range of settings and reinforce our commitment to creating a culture of belonging, responsibility and success.

Through explicit teaching, modelling and consistent practice, we are continuing to strengthen a school culture where students are encouraged to:

  • act safely,
  • show respect for themselves and others,
  • include and support their peers,
  • and take pride in their learning and behaviour.

This shared approach helps ensure all students can learn and thrive in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
