Year 8 Humanities
This term, as part of their History Research Task, Year 8 Humanities students took an adventure and travelled back through time to Medieval Europe during the period 1066 CE to 1660 CE. They each chose one topic area to research and then used key historical skills and concepts to address important aspects of Medieval Europe, with the rich research question, “How did Medieval society change our history?”, guiding their research. Topic areas included castles, weapons, armour, and The Crusades. Their findings were then presented in creative visual representations.
