Student  Successes

Congratulations Felix

Felix Dressel-de Bruyn swam at the Australian Olympic Trials in Brisbane last week. He competed in three events, 100m Breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley and 200m Breaststroke.  Some of you may have spotted Felix as the events were televised on channel 9. Congratulations Felix!

Congratulations Randheer

Glen Eira College hosted the interschool Chess Tournament on Tuesday 7th May. We came 5th as a school overall out of 11 schools.  Congratulations to Randheer from Year 9 who was the top performer for the day. Each student played 7 matches and was constantly matched up throughout the day against a student from another school with a similar win-loss ratio. Randheer won 6 games and agreed to a draw in his last as his 1st place finish was already wrapped up.
