ViSN Camp

During Week 9 students who are enrolled in a ViSN course for Year 11 in 2026 were given the opportunity to participate in a two-day camp at Trinity residential College UWA. During the camp the students met their ‘online’ teacher and other classmates in person to prepare the foundation for their online learning next year.

ViSN provides students with the opportunity to engage in studies not available at their own school and in doing so, helps them build their technology skills, their ability to work independently and expands their network within the CEWA system. Online learning is of particular benefit in transitioning to further study, especially university, where more and more courses are being delivered online.

Our students were joined by students from as far as Broome, Albany, Manjimup, Kalgoorlie and Bunbury. During the camp students engaged in activities involving getting to know you, study skills, use of the Team technology and online class structure and then started the Year 11 course in preparation for next year.
