Over the final weeks of term, our students have participated in a number of Almsgiving initiatives to support families in need during the festive season.

Students were encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal, resulting in the collection of many generous donations. Families were also given the opportunity to make financial contributions via an online link. In addition, students were encouraged to wear a Christmas-themed t-shirt in exchange for a gold coin donation, and a sausage sizzle was offered following the Year 9 election to further support fundraising efforts.

I extend my sincere thanks to all who contributed not only to these events, by giving time to cook at the community kitchen, and to the fundraising initiatives led through Vinnies Youth this year. Every contribution, whether large or small, makes a meaningful difference to a family in need.
