Mater Dei Day
The College spirit was alive and well for our annual Mater Dei Day Trivia Challenge. Students were quizzed on the College’s history and sporting accomplishments, icons and features, as well as some baby picture guessing involving both staff and students. The competition was fierce and students also excelled in physical challenges. It was a fantastic afternoon for everyone involved.
Uniform and Appearance
With the weather starting to change, students are reminded that there are a number of options for keeping warm this winter including winter pants for both boys and girls, two different weights of jumper and two different weights of jacket, and a long sleeve Sports shirt for Fridays. Please see Mrs Carmen Coates in the Uniform Shop to view and try on options.
Attendance
Student attendance is visible to parents in the Compass Portal and will show you what time they arrive and leave, as well as track whole days of absence. If your child is unwell and unable to attend the College, please log on to Compass to explain the absence. Homegroup teachers will contact parents when students have an unexplained absence of 3 days and in the event of a 3 day (or more) absence, a doctor's certificate should be attached to the explanation on Compass.
If you have any concerns about your child's attendance, please contact their Homegroup teacher or House Leader to book a time to discuss the matter.
