Psalm 143:5 “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all you have done; I reflect on the work of your hands.”
As each term comes to a close, I like to take time to reflect on the many wonderful learning experiences our students have had here at Christway College.
Education at Christway goes far beyond academics. Our students are nurtured socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually - and this term has been no exception. They’ve continued to grow as whole people through daily classes, weekly chapel services, and a wide range of events and programs including our ANZAC Day Assembly, Cross Country competitions, Indigenous performance, Lego Masters incursion, swimming program, public speaking competition, athletics carnivals, Missions and Reconciliation Week, House Performing Arts, and a variety of excursions, incursions and camps.
Throughout Scripture, we are regularly reminded to remember. Why? Because it’s easy to forget the good and dwell on the challenges. God calls us to remember so that our hearts stay grounded in truth and gratitude, rather than being weighed down by negativity.
Remembering helps us maintain perspective and protects our joy.
As we step away from the busyness of school life for a short break, may we take time to reflect on the blessings - this rich, Christ-centred community and the many opportunities your children experience at Christway College.
