Wrapping Up Term 2: A Season of Growth and Transformation
As we draw Term 2 to a close, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for a rich and eventful season in the life of our College. Across the past eleven weeks, our students and staff have engaged in learning, growth, and community in ways that have truly reflected our 2025 theme: "Transformed", inspired by Romans 12:2 - “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
We've explored what it means to be renewed and transformed through God’s work in our lives - much like the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly. This powerful image has shaped our devotions, our conversations, and our approach to both personal and collective growth throughout the term.
One of the highlights of this term was our whole school Athletics Carnival, held just last week. It was a joyful and energetic day filled with teamwork, encouragement, healthy competition, and plenty of colour and enthusiasm despite the cold weather. Events like these remind us of the vibrancy and unity of our school community, and we’re so proud of all our students for their participation and school spirit.
Looking ahead, transformation remains a theme not only for our hearts and minds, but also for our physical campus. Over the next 12 to 18 months, we are excited to be embarking on a series of building upgrades and refurbishments that will enhance learning spaces and facilities across the College. These projects are part of our long-term vision to create an inspiring and functional environment that supports the growth and flourishing of every student.
We acknowledge that with these improvements may come some temporary inconvenience around the campus, and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we carry out this important work. We will be sure to keep you updated on the changes ahead.
As we head into the winter break, we pray that it will be a time of rest, renewal, and refreshment for all our families. May God's transforming work continue in each of us as we prepare to return for an exciting Term 3.
Grace and Peace
