Year 10 Work Experience

During Week 11, our Year 10 students stepped out into the wider community to complete their Work Experience placements. From Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July, students were hosted across a range of industries including architecture, engineering, teaching, hospitality, early childhood education, software and coding, interior design (Carlisle Homes), science research (ANSTO), sport, art curation, printing, social justice (Salvos), pharmacy and more.

Work Experience is an important milestone in the life of a student. It offers a valuable opportunity to begin exploring how God has uniquely designed each of them, their strengths, interests and character, and how these may be used to serve others in the future. As students stepped into different workplaces, many began to discover what energises them, what challenges them and what they might want to grow in.

We are so proud of how our Year 10s approached this experience. Thank you to all the families, staff and employers who supported them through it. We pray that this week planted seeds of purpose and vision in their hearts as they continue to grow into the young men and women God is calling them to be.
