Wellbeing - Senior School

I extend a warm welcome to students and parents/carers in Years 9 to 12. It was great to address the Senior School students on Monday, outlining the goals of:
Acting with integrity, especially when not being supervised
Acknowledging the diversity of peers, respecting and valuing them despite differences of opinion
Adhering to expectations relating to grooming.
These goals linked with the priorities outlined by Dr Lavorato; that students’ actions are grounded in ‘love’, aiming to be compassionate, serve others and be forgiving. She encouraged the boys to be ‘super thinkers’ and be mindful of using AI in their academic studies.
There has been a great deal of information provided to students and parents/carers regarding this Friday’s Opening Mass and High Achievers’ Assembly. Please ensure that key details are noted to ensure the effective running of the day.
There are plenty of other key events occurring in the coming weeks; notably the Annual Secondary Swimming Carnival on Thursday 12 February.
