Co-Curricular - Junior Sport Stage 3

It has been great to see the College return to life this week with the full contingent of students now back at the College. The audible hum has returned as staff and students get to work. We are starting to get back into the swing of things.
Trials have now concluded and we are looking to finalise training times and dates. A training schedule will be released by the end of the week. On the schedule you will see times, days, and venues. The majority of training occurs at the College, however there are a few venues that are off site. Boys in Basketball may train at Marie Bashir Public School on Albert Road. Training at Marie Bashir will finish at 4:00 PM and boys can be collected from the venue. Any boys not collected by 4:05 PM will be walked back to the College for pick up.
Tennis training will be held at Santa Sabina College (days to be confirmed). Boys are bused over to the courts on the 579 Bus/School Special, accompanied by a coach, and walked up from Strathfield station to Santa Sabina. Each session concludes at 4:45 PM and boys must be collected from Jersey Road gates. Santa Sabina has specifically asked that no parents/carers enter the campus.
A draft draw for the summer season will also be released. This is a draft only and subject to weekly changes. The draw available on the Parent Orbit App and emailed to the boys each week will be updated and will have all the confirmed times, venues, and dates. The draft allows families to plan, allowing boys to be in attendance each weekend.
I would like to thank all the boys who trialed this year for summer sport. You all conducted yourselves with aplomb and I am very confident that all our teams will represent the College with pride, putting their best foot forward. I would also like to thank all the staff and coaches that assisted with conducting trials. It is often a thankless and challenging task, and I appreciate all your time and efforts this week.
I look forward to the summer season ahead.
