The last few weeks have been jam packed with fabulous events and learning. Book week parade started off week 6 with a bang, the students loved dressing up as their favourite characters and participating in the parade. It was so wonderful to see all our visiting parents, carers and family members supporting their children and participating in a book week activity in the classrooms.

Swimming has begun on Wednesdays and the students are so well behaved and organised. There was an extreme amount of excitement and some nerves at first, but everyone is having a wonderful time at Paul Sadler Swimland!

It has been extremely pleasing to see the growth students are demonstrating in their learning which has been enhanced by the input families put into reading at home and revising Heart Words.

Remember to keep reading and adding books to your list for the Premier's reading challenge. It ends this week. Year 1 teachers are also adding books that we have read in class!

Congratulations to our lucky winner for the Kindness Campaign raffle this fortnight, Octavia in 1B!
