Deputy Principal Staff and Students Report

GRATITUDE

It is amazing to think that Term 3, 2026 concludes for students today, Thursday 17 September 2026.  It has been a great and very busy term. As the term concludes and we are into spring, we give thanks to God for the blessing of spring time, new life and warmer weather. We also give thanks to God for the wonderful young people we are blessed to work with. We give thanks for their life, energy, humour and spontaneity. We also give thanks to God for their growth, learning and development that we are privileged to witness and foster. We give thanks for the opportunity to have some time away and restore ourselves for the final term of 2026.

CHILD SAFETY

📌We have had feedback from the Dandenong Council that some of our students at the rear of the school have not been following the supervised School Crossing rules and the directions of the Crossing Supervisors at the rear of the school, Police Road crossing. We encourage families to discuss the importance of following the rules and the potential dangers at this very busy crossing.

STUDENT HUB

A reminder that from the start of Term 4, 2026  the Marian Centre, the new Student Hub will be in operation. We are very much looking forward to our school being further improved with this new addition. Please be aware that the following will not be in the new building:

 

  • Student Services

  • Health Centre

  • Wellbeing Centre

  • Careers Centre

  • Café Naz

  • Study Centre

END OF TERM 3, 2026

A reminder that classes conclude at the normal time of 3.03pm on Thursday 17 September 2026.  Friday 18 September 2026 is a Staff Reflection Day where staff will be lead deeper in the spirituality of St Francis of Assisi during his jubilee year (800 years since his death). 

 

Term 4, 2026 starts for students on Monday 5 October 2026, Day 6.

 

We hope everyone has a great break and look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 5 October 2026 for a big Term 4, 2026.
