We are now a Donation Partner with 'CDS' VIC (EAST)

Waverley Meadows Primary school are a donation partner with "Return It" which is part of the can deposit scheme.  This means when you recycle your cans and bottles the 10 cents can be donated to our school!

The easiest way to return your cans and bottles is to bring them into school and place into the large blue bins outside the office. (Full description and information can be found in the fundraising page)

Air purifiers cleaned

Every term, the sustainability team clean the air purifiers in each classroom and replace the filters if needed.  Grade 6 students Yuma and Tanvi from our sustainability team carried out the works for us in Term 2.

Battery Return point

In conjunction with Caulfield Grammar, we have a battery return box in the office, please place any batteries that are no longer needed in our box and Tiffany & Claire will depose of them without them going to landfill. The girls put together a stop motion Lego which was presented in assembly last week about the dangers of batteries in rubbish bins. 

Sustainability Reminder

Omar (ex  student of WMPS) and Leo from Caulfield Grammar presented to the school in assembly about different ways of being sustainable in every day life. The boys spoke about saving energy and water and a commitment to the earth for a better future.
