We are now a Donation Partner with 'CDS' VIC (EAST)

Waverley Meadows Primary school are a donation partner with "Return It" which is part of the can deposit scheme.  This means when you recycle your cans and bottles the 10cents can be donated to the school.

The easiest way to return your cans and bottles is to bring them into school and place into the large blue bins outside the office.

To do this:

  • Download CDS Vic East app.

Step 1

Collect eligible drink containers

Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel, and liquid paperboard (carton) drink containers between 150mL and 3 litres are eligible. Look for the 10c mark on the back of pack. Some drinks are not eligible, including plain milk containers, wine and spirit bottles.

Tip: Keep lids on and don’t crush your containers

Earn a refund

All eligible drink containers are worth a 10 cent refund that you can either keep, or donate to a community donation partner.

What can I return?

Most aluminium, glass, plastic and liquid paperboard (carton) drink containers between 150mL and 3 litres are eligible. You can keep the lids on, we recycle them too.

Check for the 10c mark

Look for the 10c mark on the drink container label. It is often located near the barcode.
