Prep to Grade 2:

Student Showcase
Prep-2 students are to be commended for their terrific work. It has been great to share this with our parents and visitors.
Fun Lunch & Day Disco
Waverley Meadows celebrated its 50th birthday in vibrant style with a joyful 70s disco-themed event that brought sunshine, sparkle, and a whole lot of community spirit. The afternoon was alive with laughter, colour, and the unmistakable energy of coming together to mark a special milestone.
Students arrived dressed in their retro best: flared pants, oversized sunglasses, and plenty of glitter. The area was decorated with streamers, disco balls, and colourful bunting, creating a cheerful backdrop for the afternoon festivities. A pop-up dance floor quickly became the centre of attention, with both kids and adults showing off their moves and getting into the groove. The children were especially well catered for with tables full of party favourites. Thank you so much to the sensational School Council, office staff, teachers and Mrs Thornton for such a groovy event!
Literacy
Prep
The students have continued their Little Learners Love Literacy Journey with the letter 'k' and 'x.' It has been wonderful to see their writing progressing with writing sentences about their weekends and persuasive sentences.
