Term 2 Music Nights
This term, TC Performing Arts community hosted three music nights - each was a great success. Students showcased their talent and hard work, filling the audience with pride and joy.
Middle School was first and what a crowd! Combining with Mercedes College families, Gibney Hall was as full as it could be. The Junior School Music Night was the first experience of a performance in Gibney for some families and was definitely a great start to what life is like in our active music scene. The Senior Music Night wrapped things up last week with seasoned audience members lingering to chat with other families they now count as friends as they enjoyed the supper and a chat.
Thank you to the many volunteers who gave up their Friday evenings to provide welcoming smiles and hospitality for students and audiences. Your dedication made these events possible and every person who contributed deserves special recognition.
An extra thank you also goes to the families and local businesses who donated raffle prizes and supported us with personalised touches of gifts and delicious biscuits (thanks Kim!). These contributions added an extra layer of excitement and warmth to each evening, and we are truly grateful for your generosity.
It is the energy and interest of so many people that makes our Performing Arts community such a good place to belong. We look forward to more wonderful performances next term.
